| Commercialisation Bridge Grant WA | This program provides funding to WA small enterprises and startups to help them become sustainable and scalable. Funding may be used for projects or items that develop: – product readiness (product testing and validation, laboratory verification, machining and tooling etc) – team readiness (hiring experienced C-suite personnel, developing an advisory board etc) – IP readiness (legal and other professional advice, protection of intellectual property etc) – commercialisation readiness (innovation management and consulting services export readiness etc). | $50,000 to $250,000 | Open |
| Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program (rPPP) | The rPPP is an open, non-competitive grants process that will support both the development and delivery of precincts across regional, rural and remote Australia. Precincts and partnerships are: • Regional precincts or ‘places of purpose’ are user-defined geographic areas with a specific shared need or theme. • As part of the program, eligible applicants are encouraged to partner with key community groups to jointly deliver the project, including but not limited to First Nations groups, private enterprise, Regional Development Australia committees and community organisations. The rPPP has two grants streams to support both developing and delivering precincts. ➢ Stream One: Precinct development and planning Grants between $500,000 and $5 million are available for master planning, consultation, design, business cases and partnership establishment. ➢ Stream Two: Precinct delivery Grants between $5 million and $50 million are available to help deliver one or more elements of a precinct. For example enabling infrastructure (roads, pathways, underground infrastructure), public infrastructure, open spaces between elements, or a particular building that activates other investment. | Strengthening Rural Communities – Prepare & Recover | The Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Prepare & Recover program supports communities in remote, rural and regional communities across Australia to implement initiatives that prevent and prepare for future climate related impacts, or recover from existing disasters in the medium to long-term timeframe, generally one to ten years after the disaster. | Community Development Grants Programme | This is a non-competitive grant used by the Australian Government’s election commitments. The programme supports infrastructure that promotes stable, secure and viable local and regional economies. | Australian Rural Leadership Program | The Australian Rural Leadership Program supports individuals who want to respond to regional, rural, and remote Australia’s most complex challenges, as well as the opportunities that arise. Program is open to established leaders ready to tackle complex challenges and have significant impact on rural, regional and remote Australia. 15-months program including 4 face-to-face sessions between 5-10 days in length, online sessions and independent project work. This program includes both international & remote domestic travel with isolation from day-to-day duties and limited to no contact. | Airservices Australia Enroute Charges Payment Scheme | The aim of the program is to provide regional and remote communities with access to essential air services that can in turn connect these smaller communities with the rest of Australia. The Scheme supports regional commercial airlines operating low volume and new routes to regional and remote communities; as well as aeromedical providers. The Government’s policy for aviation encourages the growth of regional aviation services across Australia and the expansion of the current network by giving impetus for operators to test whether a new route can be commercially viable in time. | Not Specified | Ongoing |
| Regional Events Program (REP) | The REP, funded by Royalties for Regions, supports medium to large regional events across WA that require funding of $40,000 or more. | Mobile Black Spot Program Improving Mobile Coverage Round 8 | The Mobile Black Spot Program Improving Mobile Coverage Round (IMCR) will implement the Australian Government’s 2022 election commitment to deliver funding to improve mobile connectivity in approximately 54 underserved Target Locations across regional and remote Australia. These Target Locations have been identified by the Government as having mobile connectivity issues which have not been addressed under previous rounds of the Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP). | Aged Care Capital Assistance Program – Thin Markets, Multiple Streams | This grant opportunity will provide grant funding for infrastructure projects across four funding streams which are primarily focussed on maintaining or improving access to quality aged care services in small rural towns, remote and very remote communities and will also support specific groups of older Australians, including people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and First Nations communities. Each stream has specified objectives and outcomes that need to be considered when applying. For this grant opportunity up to a combined $135 million is available across the four Streams, comprising: $95 million combined across both: Stream 1 – Staff Accommodation, and Stream 2 – Upgrades, Expansions or New Builds. $30 million in Stream 3 – Specialised Homeless $10 million in Stream 4 – NATSIFAC Minor Projects and Equipment. | Total Funding Pool $135M | Now Closed for 2026 |

| Charge Up Workplace EV Charging Grants – Round 3 | Charge Up Workplace Grants are designed to make it easier and more cost effective for small to medium enterprises, not-for-profit organisations and local government authorities to install EV charging equipment at their workplace. The EV chargers can be installed in the car park at your workplace or depot to be used by employees, fleet vehicles and visitors to ‘charge up at work’. Eligible businesses can also install them for use by customers to ‘charge up at play’ – for example, at a tourist destination, café, recreation centre or winery. Grants in round one fund the following for up to 4 EV chargers per site (for a maximum of 5 sites): > 50% of the purchase cost of level 2 (7 to 22 kW) EV chargers chosen from an approved list > 50% of installation costs (Funding caps of $5,000 per site apply in the Greater Perth area and $10,000 per site apply in regional and remote areas) > 75% of the cost of a 2-year EV charger software subscription. Both the software platform and software supplier must be on the approved list. Hardware and software must be from the approved list. If not, applications will be ineligible. | Regional Australia Microgrid Pilots Program | The Regional Microgrids Program (the Program) seeks to support the development and deployment of renewable energy microgrids across regional Australia that contribute to the Program Outcomes. ARENA has allocated funding across two Streams under the Program, and each Stream has its own Outcomes. Regional Australia Microgrid Pilots (Stream A) The aim of Stream A is to fund Projects that contribute to the following Outcomes: Innovation and/or acceleration of the development and deployment of equipment and technology solutions that enable the coordinated use of distributed renewable energy technologies. | Regional Economic Development (RED) Grant Program – Round 8 | Delivered locally by the State’s nine Regional Development Commissions, up to $250,000 per grant is available for individual projects that contribute to increasing or sustaining jobs, expanding or diversifying industry, developing skills or capability, increasing business productivity and attracting new investment to the regions. The grants will boost investment in local regional projects that contribute to population and economic growth initiatives and innovation pilots, and importantly, are driven by the community. | First Nations Clean Energy Advice Grants – Round 1 | The First Nations Clean Energy Advice Grants Round 1 was announced as part of the implementation of the Government’s First Nations Clean Energy Strategy. | Indigenous Protected Areas program grants – DCCEEW | Indigenous Protected Areas (IPAs) are areas of land and/or sea, managed by First Nations people for biodiversity conservation. There are currently 82 dedicated IPAs across approximately 87 million terrestrial hectares of Australia and 5 million hectares of sea. These IPAs are recognised by the Australian Government as an important part of the National Reserve System (NRS), which is the network of formally recognised parks, reserves and protected areas across Australia. IPAs constitute more than 50 percent of the NRS. | Apprentice Completion Grant | The Apprentice Completion Grant is a one-off payment of $2,000 to construction apprentices and trainees who complete their qualifications between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024. An additional $500 (maximum) reimbursement is also available to these students as repayment for the purchase of work-related tools and/or safety equipment between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024. This pilot program commences on 1 July 2023 for a 12-month period. This $ 4.2 million initiative aims to encourage students to complete their training and help ensure a safe, skilled and sustainable construction industry in WA. | Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentives | A new apprentice or trainee will bring vitality, a fresh approach, and boundless enthusiasm. Plus, thanks to the introduction of the State Government Employer Incentive Scheme, your new recruit will bring a base payment of up to $8,500. Employers can claim incentive payments after the achievement of each of the following milestones. Apprenticeships At the commencement of the apprenticeship; at the mid-point of the nominal duration of an apprenticeship; and on completion of the apprenticeship. | Construction Training Fund (CTF) | The CTF supports employers to reduce the cost of employing an apprentice or trainee in a range of building and construction occupations in Western Australia, through the provision of grant payments. | 1000 Jobs Package | The 1,000 Jobs Package increases employment opportunities in remote Australia for Community Development Program (CDP) participants. Eligible employers can receive financial support of up to $57,020.48 (GST exclusive) over two years, including retention bonuses, to help them hire a CDP participant in a new, ongoing job located in a CDP region. Over two years, eligible employers can receive: > a wage subsidy of up to $53,305.19 (GST exclusive) paid at an hourly rate in arrears. > a retention bonus of up to $5,000 (GST exclusive) for retaining a CDP participant in employment, paid in instalments. Tranche Two includes a Youth Engagement Jobs stream for employers who create employment opportunities for CDP participants to work with youth (this is for jobs to support youth, not necessarily jobs for youth).
